Smoke alarm installation, Campbelltown & Macarthur
Smoke alarms installed to NSW law by a licensed electrician
We install, test and certify hardwired interconnected photoelectric alarms, with a fixed price first.
How it works
-
Free safety inspection
We check your existing alarms, their age and placement, and where NSW law says you need more. The free inspection also covers your switchboard, switches, powerpoints, RCD testing, earthing and cable condition.
-
Fixed quote and install
You get a clear price before we start, then we fit and test photoelectric alarms and interconnect them where you want the extra protection.
-
Certified and dated
Every alarm is tested, the install date is recorded, and you get compliance paperwork plus a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
Photoelectric and interconnected
Photoelectric alarms sense the slow, smouldering smoke that starts most house fires, often from wiring, a charger or a couch, well before there are flames. That's why Fire and Rescue NSW recommends them over the older ionisation type, which reacts to flames but nuisance-trips on toast and ends up ripped off the ceiling.
Interconnected means every alarm in the home is linked, wired or wireless, so smoke in the garage sounds the alarm in the far bedroom too. On a single stand-alone alarm, a fire at the other end of the house can be well advanced before anyone hears it. It's the single biggest improvement you can make to your escape time.
Smoke alarm work we do
New installs, replacements, interconnection and rental compliance, all with photoelectric alarms as standard. Every job starts with the free safety inspection so you know where you stand before spending anything.
Where alarms go, and why it matters
Getting the number of alarms right is only half the job. Where they go decides whether they warn you in time. Smoke rises, so alarms belong on the ceiling, away from corners and gaps where the air stalls, and clear of the kitchen and bathroom where cooking steam and shower moisture cause nuisance triggers.
The most important alarms are the ones on the path between the bedrooms and the way out, because that's the escape route you need covered early. We work all of this out in the free safety inspection: how many alarms your layout needs under NSW law, where each one sits, and whether interconnecting them is worth it for your floorplan.
A free inspection first, a fixed price second
- No call-out fees and no charging you just to look.
- The safety inspection is free, you get a fixed quote in writing before we start, and every alarm we fit is tested, dated and backed by a lifetime workmanship guarantee.
