Ceiling fan installation, Campbelltown & Macarthur
Ceiling fan installation by a licensed local electrician
Buy the fan yourself or let us supply it, and either way you get a fixed price before we start.
How the job works
-
Tell us how many and which rooms
Say whether you've bought the fans already or want us to supply them, and send a photo of the ceiling if you can.
-
Fixed quote in writing
One price for the lot before we start, including any new wiring. No call-out fee and nothing charged just to look.
-
Brace, wire and mount
We brace the ceiling box for the weight and movement of a fan, wire it to code, and fit the wall control or remote.
-
Tested and guaranteed
We run it through every speed to check it's balanced and quiet, and you get a lifetime workmanship guarantee on the install.
Install only, or supply and install
You've got two ways to do this. Buy the fan yourself and we install it, or we supply and install a quality fan for you. Either way you get a fixed price before we start.
What you're paying us for is the part you can't see: safe wiring, a properly braced mount, and a fan that won't rattle itself loose in two summers.
AC or DC, and what we'd tell you to buy
Worth getting right before you buy, because it changes how the fan feels every day. An AC fan runs off standard mains power. They're cheaper, reliable, and fine for a spare room. A DC fan uses a newer motor that draws a lot less power, runs noticeably quieter, gives you more speed settings and a summer and winter reverse mode, and almost always comes with a remote.
DC costs a bit more up front. In a bedroom or main living area, where you notice a hum and the fan runs for hours, it's the one people are glad they bought. For a covered patio the deciding factor isn't AC or DC, it's the IP rating.
Fans we install
Indoor, outdoor and bathroom fans, supplied by us or bought by you, across Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly. Same fixed price before we start and the same lifetime workmanship guarantee on all of it, whether it's one bedroom fan or the whole house.
Why it has to be a licensed electrician
It's tempting to treat a ceiling fan like a flat-pack, but wiring one is electrical work, and in NSW an unlicensed person doing it is breaking the law. The quieter risk is your insurance. An unlicensed install can void your home cover if the fan ever causes damage or a fire.
There's a physical problem too. A fan hung off a standard light mount that was never braced for the weight and vibration will work loose over a busy ceiling. We brace the mount, check the wiring and the switch, and leave you a fan that runs true and stays put.
What you get on every job

- You get a fixed quote in writing before we start, a free safety inspection while we're there, and a lifetime workmanship guarantee on everything we fit.
- A fixed price agreed before the job starts, not a meter running while you watch.
