Maintenance and repairs

A lot of what a commercial electrician in Campbelltown actually does is running repairs, compliance jobs and the small changes a building needs to keep trading.

  • Ongoing maintenance and repairs Fault call-outs, regular servicing, and the small jobs that pile up around a site until someone gets to them.
  • Strata and common property Lighting, boards and repairs across common areas, done on the manager's instruction and invoiced to them.
  • Comms racks and patch panels Rack builds, patching and terminations, run tidy and labelled so a cable is easy to find later.
  • Wi-Fi points and phone lines Access point installs and phone line runs, cabled properly instead of trailed along a skirting board.

Commercial jobs we do, and when we do them

Most commercial work falls into a handful of job types, and the first question on nearly all of them is when it happens. A shop or a clinic can't shut for a day while the power is off, so the work goes in around your trading hours.

Job type What it covers When we do it
Shop or office fit-out Rough-in, cable tray, distribution, lighting and final fit-off Worked in around the builder's program
Switchboard or sub-board upgrade Board upgrades, sub-boards and three-phase distribution Usually out of trading hours, because the power goes off
Warehouse and carpark lighting High bay, batten, carpark and shopfront lighting, and LED upgrades Daytime or after close, whichever suits the site
Exit and emergency light testing The six-monthly service, the discharge test and the logbook Every six months, booked in ahead
Power and data cabling Outlets, data points, comms racks, patch panels and Wi-Fi points Fitted into your quiet window
Fault call-out Tripping boards, dead circuits, failed lighting and fault finding 24/7, nights and weekends included
Workplace EV chargers A load check on the site first, then chargers for staff and fleet parking Booked in once the load check is done

Every job is a fixed price agreed in writing before we start. We hold a NSW electrical contractor licence and public liability insurance, and we can send both across before we come on site.

We work outside Macarthur too

Most of our commercial work started as a small job done properly, then a call again when they needed something bigger. The businesses we look after are ones we've worked for over years, and most have our mobile rather than an office number.

We're based in Macarthur, and our home jobs stay close by in Campbelltown, Camden and the Wollondilly, across the suburbs we cover. For clients we already look after we travel further: a business in Cabramatta, a clinic up at Parramatta and a hotel in the Hunter Valley.

So if you're outside Macarthur, ask anyway. If it's a site we can look after properly, we'll take it on. If not, we'll say so up front.

How a job runs

  1. We come and look at the site

For anything beyond a simple call-out we'd rather see it. Existing buildings never match the drawings, so we'd rather price what is actually there.

  2. Fixed price in writing

You get the scope and the price before a tool comes out. If something turns up behind a wall, we stop and tell you what it means before we keep going.

  3. Work around your trading hours

Shops, clinics and childcare centres can't shut for a switchboard. Plenty of our commercial work happens early, late or on a weekend so you keep trading.

  4. Certificates and a direct number

You get the compliance paperwork for the work, and you keep the mobile. When something trips in six months, you call us, not a call centre.

What business owners ask us

Ask us yours on 0412 424 596

Yes, and it's a fair bit of what we do. Commercial is 24/7 with us, so a freezer that fails on a Saturday or a board that trips the night before you open still gets answered. It's the same 24/7 emergency electrician call-out our home customers get. If it can wait, we book it in for a time that suits your trading hours instead.

Get in touch

Talk to the electrician who does the work

Call us and you get us, not a call centre. If it's urgent, ring straight through, day or night. Otherwise send a quote request and we'll come back to you with a fixed price.
