How the job works

  1. Tell us what you've bought

Send the model and a photo of the space. We'll confirm whether it's a straight swap or needs new wiring before we quote.

  2. Fixed quote in writing

One price for the whole job, including any circuit work. No call-out fee, and nothing charged just to come and look.

  3. Old one out, new one in

We disconnect and remove the old unit, check the wiring and isolation switch, then fit and connect the new appliance.

  4. Tested and guaranteed

It gets tested before we leave, so it's ready to cook on the same day, with a lifetime workmanship guarantee.

A wall oven and gas cooktop installed and hardwired by C3 Industries

Hardwired appliances need a licensed electrician

An oven, cooktop or ducted rangehood wired straight into your circuits, rather than plugged into a wall socket, is fixed electrical work. In NSW it has to be installed by a licensed electrical contractor.

The delivery driver drops the box at the door, and that's where their job ends. A hardwired oven or cooktop pulls serious current, and connecting it isn't a plug-in job. It's a wiring job with real consequences if it's done loose or put on a circuit that can't carry it. Get that wrong and the appliance either trips the board or slowly cooks its own connections.

Circuit breakers in a switchboard, checked for capacity before an appliance is connected

The circuit and load check

Anyone can hang a rangehood on a bracket. The part that matters is underneath. Before we connect a new oven or cooktop, we check the circuit and the load capacity. Is the existing cable rated for this appliance, is the circuit protected properly, and can your switchboard carry the extra draw alongside everything else in the kitchen?

Skip that and you get the classic new-appliance callback. The oven, the kettle and the dishwasher all going at once, and the safety switch drops the whole kitchen mid-dinner. A delivery-service install almost never looks at the board. We do, because it's the bit that stops you ringing us back.

What we install

Kitchen appliances that wire in rather than plug in, across Campbelltown, Camden and Wollondilly. If you're doing a few at once, book them on the one call-out, which works out a lot cheaper than three separate trips.

Oven installation

Wall ovens and upright cookers connected to a correctly rated, protected circuit. Old unit disconnected and removed, new one wired, tested and left ready to cook on.

Cooktop installation

Electric and induction cooktops hardwired and load-checked. These pull heavy current, so the circuit gets verified before connection, not after it trips.

Rangehood installation

Canopy, undermount and slide-out rangehoods, ducted or recirculating. Mounted into studs, wired safely, and the extraction set up to actually clear steam and grease.

Heating elements and repairs

Replacement heating elements and fault-finding on cooking appliances. If it's the element rather than the whole unit, we'll tell you.

Multiple-appliance fit-outs

Renovating or moving in? Book the oven, cooktop and rangehood together on one call-out and one fixed price, far cheaper than separate trips.

Circuit and load assessment

Not sure your kitchen circuits can handle the new appliances? We check the cable, the protection and the switchboard capacity before you buy.

Old appliance out, new one in

Part of a clean install is dealing with what's already there. We disconnect and remove the old oven, cooktop or rangehood safely, check the existing wiring and isolation switch are up to standard, and only then fit the new unit. Older kitchens sometimes hide a surprise behind the appliance, a connection that was never quite right or a cable that's perished. Far better to find that with the panel off than to bolt a brand-new appliance onto a tired connection. If something needs bringing up to code, you hear about it before we do the work, with a price attached.

What you get on every job

  • No call-out fees and nothing charged just to look.
  • You get a fixed quote in writing before we start, a free safety inspection while we're there, and a lifetime workmanship guarantee on everything we fit.
  • A fixed price agreed before the job starts, not a meter running while you watch.

It depends on the rangehood. A straight swap that plugs into an existing power point can be a simpler job, but anything involving new wiring, hardwiring or a new circuit legally needs a licensed electrician for that part. We're licensed for that work and we'll confirm which yours is up front.
